Composting Program Launch

Students near composting garden

Ryde Council has taken us up on our request to sponsor a school composting initiative. They are providing a collection bucket for each classroom and a brand-new tumbling composter for our Edible Garden.

Mr. Green and 3/4G are busy planning speeches and creating posters to educate both the staff and students of GPS on what can be composted, what can't be composted and the benefits of composting food scraps and other waste products.

We hope to have the project up and running by Term 4 and continue it into next year.
