On Wednesday 9 March, Gladesville Public School participated in "Crazy Hair Day" to raise awareness for people suffering with Leukaemia.
We raised $6,617 through shaving, cutting and creating some crazy and wacky looking hairdos! A fantastic effort!!! The sponsorship page will still be open for donations until June so please keep giving to this worthy cause.
We had a record number of participants with 25 people cutting or shaving their hair before school in front of hundreds of students and parents. This included three brave teachers!
Quotes from the day; "A cut above the line"! "Shaved the competition"!
"Cutting edge competition for the judges"! "It was a close shave"!
